Bar Club 188: A DEFINITION SINCE 1974!
Bar Club 188 has been opening its doors every day since 1974 for anyone looking for a pleasant afternoon, evening and/or night. You can come to us for a fun night out, parties, drinks and celebrations, an afternoon/evening of watching football, darts and pool or one of our many events; our famous pub quiz, karaoke night, dart pairing tournaments, clover jacket tournaments, theme parties and more! In July 2023, our bar was improved with the installation of new cooling and taps, which means we will go from 2 to 4 specialty beer taps on top of our more than 25 bottled and canned beers.

Brown pub meets sportsbar
We have 4 TVs and a large screen on which we broadcast domestic and foreign (football) competitions,
but also Formula 1, tennis, darts, cycling, hockey, baseball, boxing and so on. Look at hhere the weekly programming.
BAR CLUB 188 IS
a place for everyone!
Bar Club 188 is a pub for young and old, for individuals and for (large) groups, for friends and company outings, for sports clubs and for students, for expats and tourists, etc.; in short, a pub for everyone! You can come in here alone: there is always someone up for a chat and a laugh, but if you don't feel like it, that's no problem! 'Whatever floats your boat'. As long as you leave with a smile at the end of your visit, we are happy!
In “The Club” - as it is often called by our regular guests - you can enjoy a fun evening out with the option to use our darts court, games cabinet and pool table or our LIVE sports on one of our 5 screens. .

On the five screens (4 TVs and 1 large screen) you can watch live soccer from both the Eredivisie and the most famous foreign competitions (such as Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Major League of Soccer, etc.).
Of course you can also watch all Oranje matches LIVE with us! You even get a free Amstel beer for every goal scored for the Netherlands.
The major darts tournaments and Formula 1 are also broadcasted. As well as other (popular) sports, such as rugby, tennis, cycling, Olympic games, boxing, ice hockey, etc.

All kinds of events are regularly organized, which makes Bar Club 188 unique in the area and one of its kind. During the week The darts court is busy with the fourteen dart teams that play in front of our pub and there is plenty of room to play a game of pool or have a nice drink.
Almost every Saturday we also organize an event, such as: dart pairing tournaments, Klaverjas tournaments, our own pub quiz, theme parties, tastings, 30 seconds tournaments, karaoke evenings, live music and special annual events.
